Our College of nursing was awarded with "Best Service Award -2012" by st.John Ambulance for training more than 600 volunteers under "Iyarkai Mission2012- Disaster preparedness program. Prof. DR.S.Madhavi, Principal, KMCH College of Nursing received the award from his Excellency Dr. K. Rosaiah, Governor of Tamil Nadu.
Prof. DR. S. Madhavi Received Research grant from the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR medical University for her research on Metabolic syndrome for the year 2014-15.
Prof. Dr.Prof.S.Madhavi, Principal, KMCH College of Nursing has received the Best Nurse Educator Award in Tamil Nadu State during Nurses Day Celebration held in 2011 at Apollo College of Nursing, Chennai. and also received the Best Teacher Award from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai during Nurses Day Celebration -2012.

1999 – Our student Ms.Vasantha Chitra has secured the university gold medal for university first rank in B.Sc(Nursing).
2007 – Our student Ms.P.Shanmuga Priya was awarded the Nurfafest Endowment Gold Medal for her outstanding performance in Community Health Nursing in B.Sc(Nursing).
2010 – Ms.Jerly Mariam Jacob was awarded with the Omayal Achi Endowment Gold Medal in the University Convocation held in July 2010.
2011 – Ms.Rathi was awarded with the Periyasamy Endowment Gold Medal (Medical Surgical Nursing) in the University Convocation held in Feb 2011.
